As some of you know, I play travel soccer for a team in Virginia. Over the weekend of March 2-3 we had a soccer tournament in Richmond, VA. The tournament went very well as we came out champions! Our record for the tournament was 3-0-1. The first game was a close, 1-0 victory. The second game stared great, as we piled on 3 goals in the 1st 15 minutes of the game. The other team came back and tied the game at 3-3. The 3rd game was a rather easy 4-2 win. The 4th game, the final of the tournament, would be a tight 1-0 victory.

Last weekend I went to New York City! I flew to New York Thursday night and flew back Saturday afternoon. While the trip was short, it was memorable. This was my first trip to New York. The night that we arrived, my Dad and I went to Rockefeller Center. On Friday, my Dad, sister and I walked around the city all day. We went to the Apple store, Niketown, M&M world, F.A.O Schwartz and many more. We also went to Radio City Music Hall and saw the Rockettes on Saturday. It was a very fun trip and I would like to go to New York again.

My 7 year old cousin, Jake, has recently started playing hockey. He is doing a training a session through USA Hockey. So far, he has had a lot of fun and is really enjoying it.

Today I had my first day of school for the 2012-2013 school year. We didn’t do much today. We Got to know our classmates and teachers. We also had a introduction on our fall sports. The sport I will be playing for the fall sport season will be football. I have never played football on a team before so I am very excited.

My sister, Erin, also attended here first day of school today. She is attending Junior Kindergarden. She was very excited for her first day of school. She was so excited that she accidentally threw her headband into a tree.

My four year old sister, Erin will be attending here first soccer practice today. She has been really excited the past few days. Even I am very excited to see her play. My dad and I have been training her over the past few days. I think she is ready to release her energy.
